About The Author

Eileen Rawson is a retired school teacher. She lives in Nidderdale, Yorkshire where she enjoys walking, country dancing, cross-stitch and crosswords.

She has two children and eight grandchildren and is involved in her local church and WI.

Eileen has been composing quizzes since 2001. She uses them as competitions, charging a minimum of 50p for the quiz sheet, with small cash prizes for the winners and a draw if there is a tie.

In this way she has raised hundreds of pounds for charities.

She has decided to compile a book of some of her quizzes.Through the Charity Quiz Book, she hopes to bring enjoyment to people who enjoy this style of quiz and enable many people to raise funds for their favourite charities.
